The vehicle “drifted off the right road edge, overcorrected left, and crossed the centerline,” officials said. “It then went off the south edge of the roadway and overturned.”
They added the 48-year-old man from Price was the sole occupant and was thrown from his vehicle and found deceased when officers arrived.
Officers added it was apparent that the incident had happened sometime earlier than when it was reported. They noted there was no initial indication of impairment, however, the seatbelt showed no signs of use.
Officials said there was minimal impact on traffic in the area during the investigation.
