SALT LAKE CITY – Jazz forward Royce O’Neale stole the ball before throwing down a big jam during Utah’s game against the Indiana Pacers.
The Pacers hosted the Jazz on Saturday, January 8.
With 2:20 remaining in the first half, O’Neale stole a pass by the Pacers and ran the floor on a one-man fast break.
The forward rose up and threw down a massive slam dunk to cut Indiana’s lead to 55-48.
O’Neale’s dunk was part of a 9-0 run by the Jazz.
At halftime, Utah trailed Indiana by nine points, 61-52.
O’Neale had eight points on 3-3 field goals, including 2-2 from beyond the arc. He added four rebounds, one assist, and one steal in 16 minutes on the hardwood.
This season, the Baylor product is averaging 7.4 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per contest.
