The car the woman was driving became submerged in a pool of freezing water along Interstate 80 earlier this month.
With the help of an off-duty firefighter, the driver was rescued and able to get medical attention quickly.
UHP said the temperatures that day were “freezing” but thanks to the quick response, the woman driver was saved.
